Almost December

Well, hopefully everyone survived the Thanksgiving holiday! I can't believe Christmas is going to be here so soon. I haven't even made a list yet! Got to get on that soon...

Well, an update on my writing for this week. This weekend I wrote a lot. I actually have a blister from where my wrist touches my desk when I move the mouse and when I type. I never even had that when I was working in an office full time at IRI! So I think a week more and Taken by the Knight will be done, which is so cool since I started it in June. Right now I'm over 14,000 words. (Or to Kim 14K, haha)

Jack's Frost should be coming out in time for Christmas. I was really happy the way it came out and it's just such a cool Christmas ghost story, and my mother approved of it too!

I also will have an announcement soon for a January release, so stay tuned!

everyone stay warm!

This week should be a busy one. I have lots to do for Thanksgiving, and I'm not even cooking this year!

I'm currently working on Taken by the Knight, which is looking to be my longest piece yet. Then I have a couple things up my sleeve I need to start working on...

I hope everyone stays safe and has a great holiday!

Creativity emerges before the written word...

Windy City

Today was a really windy day in the Windy City. I went around the park once and could hardly stand up, and ended up coming home.

I had a great time this weekend meeting my neice and some other family members for lunch and shopping.

I have decided to take a few days off to recharge the batteries before I start my next project, which is looking like it will be Taken By the Knight, which I started back in June and put aside for Cerulean Blue. But Morgan and Caitlyn are demanding their story be told, and who am I to tell them no? I have hopes for this to be my longest story yet, with a part two to follow, A Knight in the City. 3 guesses which city it will be, and the first 2 don't count! hmmm...

take care everyone!

Old Friends Found & Validation

This past week I spoke to two friends I haven't spoken to for a long time. No real reason, no silly fight or disagreement, we just stopped talking. Everyone who knows me, really knows me will agree that I hate losing touch with friends. I've sworn to myself I won't let it happen again, and I promise you both, it won't...and thank you both for all the good wishes you gave me. I appreciate it more than you know.

On a much lighter note, I received my first review for Cerulean Blue, and I am thrilled. I have never experienced such a feeling in my life. It was incredible, and I'll admit I cried. It will be posted on the 10th at I thank the reviewer and the website for reviewing Cerulean Blue.

And finally, a big hello to my aunt/Godmother in Wisconsin whose enthusiasm for what I'm doing means a lot to me.
